Halil Ibrahim Gumus

Halil Ibrahim GUMUS has extensive work experience in the field of IT security and networking. Halil Ibrahim started their career as a Network Engineer at Türk Telekom in 2011 and then worked as a Network and Security Engineer - Researcher at TUBITAK from 2013 to 2016.

From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Network and Security Engineer at Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi (ÖSYM).

In 2018, Halil joined IDEUS as a Network Security Consultant, working primarily with Palo Alto Networks products.

Halil Ibrahim then moved on to work at the World Trade Organization in 2018 as a Network and Security Engineer, where they participated in various IT security projects and contributed to procurement requirements and user documentation.

In 2019, Halil joined MS&AD Insurance Group as an IT Security Specialist, actively participating in incident response and vulnerability management, as well as managing penetration test providers.

Halil Ibrahim'smost recent position is as a Technical Program Manager at Intrinsic, starting in October 2022. Overall, Halil Ibrahim GUMUS has built a strong background in IT security, network engineering, and program management throughout their career.

Halil Ibrahim GUMUS began their education at Tekirdağ Science High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in Physical Sciences from 2002 to 2006. Halil Ibrahim then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (Middle East Technical University) from 2006 to 2011. Halil continued their academic journey by completing a Master's degree in Information Systems from Gazi University between 2012 and 2015. Additionally, they obtained certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in March 2022.
