Senior Software Engineer at Intrinsic

Yadunand Vijay has a diverse work experience starting from 2015. Yadunund began their career as a Vehicle Simulation Intern at SKEV Motors, where they performed dynamic multibody simulations using MSC Adams and SIMULINK/MATLAB for the company's first electric motorcycle. Yadunund also developed a design spreadsheet for computing key vehicle specifications and conducted static and dynamic finite element analysis using SolidWorks.

In 2017, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Applied Materials. During this role, they gained experience in manufacturing engineering processes.

From 2017 to 2018, Yadunand served as a Graduate Researcher in Robotic 3D printing at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). Here, they designed and developed a novel large-scale robotic 3D printing system for fabrication with biocomposites. Their work was recognized with an award-winning dissertation titled "Advanced Manufacturing with Natural Materials."

In 2018, they joined A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology, and Research as a Development Engineer, focusing on advanced robotics applications at the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC).

Yadunand later joined Open Robotics in 2019 as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to software development projects.

Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer at Intrinsic since 2023.

Yadunund Vijay completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) from 2013 to 2016. Yadunund then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Advanced Manufacturing and Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2016 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Yadunund Vijay obtained a certification as a Mechanical Design Associate from Dassault Systèmes in March 2016. Yadunund also received a certification in Python for Data Science and Machine Learning from Pierian Data International, although the exact month and year of completion are not provided.
