Engineering Lead at Intrivo Diagnostics

Alim Haji has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to 2021. In 2004, they worked as an Embedded Software Programmer at IBM. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Research Scientist at the Air Force Research Laboratory, where they researched Cramer-Rao Bounds and modeled the research using advanced mathematics. In 2007, they co-founded Source For Change, launching and growing an innovative social enterprise that generated 40 IT-based employment opportunities for women in a rural Indian community. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as the Director of Multi-Unit Operations at Dunkin' Donuts Franchisee, where they overhauled inefficient management structure to increase sales by 15%, employed lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and recover four percentage points on P&L, and solved logistics of a 30% spike in demand of product by improving production and distribution models. In 2011, they co-founded both Heart Us and The Combine. Currently, they are working as an Engineering Lead at Intrivo.

Alim Haji received a Master of Science in Optical Engineering from The University of New Mexico in 2007 and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from University of New Mexico in 2004.
