Marek Chalupnik

Marek Chalupnik is an experienced investment consultant specializing in deep tech, currently self-employed since April 2025 and serving as an expert at Intro. Previously, Marek was the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of DeepRoots, a Nature FinTech company, and the Venture Builder Founder for Nature Tech at ZINC, fostering entrepreneurship in scalable, mission-led businesses. As Technology Principal at IQ Capital from June 2019 to July 2023, Marek focused on investments in disruptive UK tech companies. Additional board involvement includes positions at Wluper, Boltzbit, Myrtle.ai, Dataswyft, and Opteran. Marek holds a PhD in Engineering Design from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Finance and Banking from SGH Warsaw School of Economics, and an MSc in Manufacturing Engineering, Technology Management, and Materials Technology from Warsaw University of Technology.
