Aaron Hall

Aaron Hall has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. Aaron is currently the CEO and Founder of Intropic Materials, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to that, in June 2021, they worked as an Entrepreneurial Research Fellow at Cyclotron Road in a role focused on entrepreneurship.

Aaron also has experience at the National Science Foundation (NSF) where they served as an Entrepreneurial Lead for the Innovation Corps program from October to December 2020. In this role, they led customer discovery and business model development for Intropic Materials.

Before their involvement with NSF, Aaron worked as a Scientific Researcher at UC Berkeley from July 2015 to December 2020. Additionally, they served as the Vice President Finance at the UC Berkeley Graduate Assembly from June 2019 to June 2020.

Prior to their time at UC Berkeley, Aaron worked in the food industry at Del Monte Foods, Inc. as both a Food Technologist II and a Food Technologist. Their responsibilities included supporting the Tomato business unit in research and development, maintaining product accuracy, evaluating ingredients, exploring new formulations and processing methods, and implementing cost-saving projects. Aaron also worked as a Technician II and R&D Lab Technician at Del Monte Foods, Inc.

Aaron's early career includes experience as a Scientific Researcher in Organic Chemistry Synthesis Methodology at UC Santa Cruz, where they focused on synthesizing boron-containing organic molecules.

Lastly, Aaron gained valuable experience in the culinary field during their time as Manager and Assistant Chef at Porter-Kresge Dining Hall. In this role, they supervised and managed a team of over 70 students, designed and executed recipes, and gained proficiency in various kitchen equipment.

From 2018 to 2020, Aaron attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science and Engineering.
