Dimitris Kaskadanis

Dimitris Kaskadanis has extensive work experience in the field of internal audit and risk management. Dimitris currently holds the position of Senior Director, Global Internal Audit at Intrum since April 2023. Prior to this, Dimitris worked at Eurobank for several years, where they held various roles including Head of Internal Audit Data Analytics Centre of Excellence, Senior Manager in the Credit & Remedial Audit Division, and Internal Audit Manager in the same division. In these roles, Dimitris was responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing credit and remedial audits, as well as managing audit teams and evaluating team members. Dimitris also worked as the Head of Internal Audit Team at Eurobank Equities Investment Firm S.A., where they conducted audits covering various activities of the firm and presented audit findings to the firm's Board of Directors. Before joining Eurobank, Dimitris worked as an Internal Auditor at Eurobank Ergasias S.A., focusing on retail credit audits and internal rating models for Basel II purposes. Dimitris started their career as a Financial Analyst at Laserline Clinics, where they prepared management accounting reports, budgeted sales revenues and expenses, and managed the advertising budget. Dimitris holds several professional certifications, including FCA, CIA, CISA, and PMP®.

Dimitris Kaskadanis, FCA, CIA, CISA, PMP®, has a diverse education history. In 1999, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from The American College of Greece. Dimitris then pursued further education and received a Diploma in Business Analytics and Big Data from Athens University of Economics and Business in 2019. Additionally, Dimitris has obtained several certifications including Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from ICAEW and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. and ISACA respectively. Dimitris also holds certifications in project management such as PMP® (Project Management Professional). Dimitris continues to enhance their knowledge through various online courses and trainings, covering topics such as AI, machine learning, blockchain, agile methodologies, and information literacy.
