Lucía Galache Matabuena

Lucía Galache Matabuena has extensive work experience in the field of information security and technology. Lucía currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Solvia Inmobiliaria and was previously the IT Security & Business Continuity Director at Intrum. Prior to these roles, they served as the CISO at Grupo Unísono and worked as a Cyber Security Consultant. Lucía also has experience in education, working as an Information Security and Data Privacy Lecturer at MSMK. Earlier in their career, they held various positions at PeopleWare, including the Head of the Information Security Office and IT & Security Senior Project Manager. Additionally, they worked as an IT Project Manager at CCAIJO and as a Functional Analyst at Thales España.

Lucía Galache Matabuena holds an Ingeniero Técnico en Informática degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Lucía also obtained an Ingeniero Superior en Informática degree from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca. In terms of additional certifications, Lucía obtained certifications such as Certified Cyber Security Professional from ISMS Forum Spain in 2019, Lead Implementer ISO 22301- Business Continuity from British Standard Institute (BSI) in 2012, ITIL Foundation V3 from New Horizons in 2009, Lead Auditor ISO 27001 from British Standard Institute (BSI) in 2007, and Lead Implementer ISO 27001 from Applus+ in 2005. Lucía also completed a specialized course on Cybersecurity from Instituto Atlántico de Gobierno IADG in 2015. Lucía has recently attended the Leading strategic projects program at the IESE Business School in 2020 and the CISM preparation course at ISACA in 2021.
