Austin Locke

Austin Locke is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment management. Currently serving as Managing Director at CPP Investment Board, Austin oversees the Technology investments segment within a C$50+ billion private equity portfolio. Previous roles include Principal and Senior Associate at McAfee, where responsibilities include serving on the Audit Committee, and Investor positions at Waymo and GlobalLogic, the latter of which was successfully sold to Hitachi. Austin's background also includes key contributions at Miller Buckfire, PIMCO, DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, and Friedman Billings Ramsey, where transaction experience encompassed restructuring assignments and M&A deals valued from $35 million to $1 billion. Austin holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Analytical Finance from Wake Forest University.
