Ken Yocum is a computer scientist with extensive experience in data science and software engineering. After spending nearly a decade as a research scientist at UCSD, where they focused on parallel data processing and distributed systems, they transitioned to the industry, helping to establish the big-data group at Illumina and later working at Human Longevity, Inc. to build data systems for genomic data. Currently, Ken serves as a principal data scientist at Intuit in San Diego, advising students and pursuing innovative ideas in data processing.
