Tom Dugma

Tom Dugma is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing and optimizing software solutions. Currently employed at Intuit since June 2022, Tom has successfully transformed the rule-writing process for analysts, significantly reducing the time required from months to a week by utilizing Java 8, Java 11, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL. Prior to this role, Tom worked at Operative from June 2021 to June 2022, where expertise in microservices architecture and back-end development was applied to create a notification service using Spring Boot and Java 8, as well as non-relational databases like MongoDB within an Agile environment. Tom began a career in software development at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev as a Python Developer for the NEW Crispr-IL organization, concentrating on CRISPR technology and RESTful services while obtaining a BSc in Software and Information Engineering from the same institution.
