Yoones Vaezi

Yoones Vaezi, Ph.D., currently serves as the Lead Data Scientist at Intuitive.Cloud since July 2024. Prior to this role, Vaezi held similar positions as Lead Data Scientist at SoftServe from September 2021 to June 2024 and as Machine Learning Team Lead at AltaML from November 2020 to August 2021. Vaezi's career also includes experience as a Geophysicist/Data Scientist at Nanometrics from April 2017 to November 2020 and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Alberta from October 2016 to April 2017. Vaezi gained early experience through various internships, including a Summer Intern position at Baker Hughes and a Research Intern position at IFP, strengthening expertise in seismic analysis and data science. Vaezi holds a Ph.D. in Exploration Geophysics and additional degrees in Petroleum Geoscience and Analytics from esteemed institutions, including the University of Alberta and Georgia Institute of Technology.
