James Blakeslee II

Software Architect at Intuitive Machines

James Blakeslee II is an accomplished software architect and engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and technology sectors. Currently at Intuitive Machines since June 2015, James spearheads the development of a scalable microservice architecture for spacecraft systems and previously served as the Senior Development Engineer for Axiom Space. Prior to this role, James founded Virga Technology LLC, where innovative applications were explored across various domains. At Garmin International, James built scalable authentication systems for consumer products, and at a.i. solutions, Inc., James led a navigation team for the Magnetospheric Multiscale Mission. James’s career began at United Space Alliance, where significant contributions were made to the Spacecraft Position, Optimal Tracking Project. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Kansas.
