Karl F.

Karl F. possesses extensive experience in avionics engineering and technology, currently serving as an Avionics Engineer at Intuitive Machines since January 2021. Previously, Karl served as an Avionics Lead Technician with the United States Air Force from September 2001 to June 2017, where leadership of the avionics team resulted in 100% mission effectiveness for multiple F-16 systems. Prior to that role, experience includes work as an Electronic Technician at Lockheed Martin and as an Avionics Technician in both the Air National Guard and the US Navy, the latter involving support for A-6, A-7, and F/A-18 aircraft in a research and development environment as well as operational testing on an aircraft carrier. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, an Associate of Science in Avionics Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, and an Associate of Arts in Mathematics from San Jacinto College.
