Michael Kalontarov is a skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the Aerospace and Energy sectors. Currently employed at Intuitive Machines since January 2019, Michael focuses on applying fluid dynamics expertise to engineering challenges. Previously, Michael worked at Schlumberger from October 2014 to January 2019, contributing to new product development in drilling and measurements, and was involved in technology projects related to downhole power generation and telemetry, conducting simulations and guiding prototype designs. Michael's earlier roles included serving as a private tutor, engineering consultant, and graduate research fellow at Cornell University, where significant research and publications were produced in micro- and nanofluidic systems. Michael holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
