Surong Ruan

Surong Ruan is a seasoned interaction and product designer with extensive experience in user experience design for various industries, particularly in healthcare and virtual reality. Currently serving as a Senior Interaction Designer at Intuitive since February 2020, Ruan focuses on service designs that enhance patient care. Previous roles include Senior Product Designer at Qventus, Inc., where Ruan developed a top-selling patient board and collaborative mobile applications, and Senior UX Designer positions at Jaunt VR and Autodesk, contributing to innovative VR solutions and large-scale web applications. Ruan holds a Master of Science in Information with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Automation from Tsinghua University.
