Yilong Chen

Yilong (Dylan) Chen is a System Analyst and Robotics Control Engineer at Intuitive since December 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California San Diego from January 2015 to December 2021, where Yilong instructed MAE 140 on Circuits. Yilong holds a PhD in Dynamic System and Control from UC San Diego, acquired in 2021, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2017. Research involvement includes work as a Research Assistant in Dynamic Systems and Control, focusing on acoustic disintegration and reconstruction, as well as in Soft Robotics, exploring voltage-driven and laser-driven applications. An engineering internship at Jiangling Motors Co., Ltd took place in the summer of 2015 under the guidance of PI Shengqiang Cai.
