Patricia D'Souza

Patricia D'Souza is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. As the Director of Communications at Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami since June 2009, Patricia has developed and executed comprehensive communications plans, led strategic communications for significant events, and managed media relations. Previous positions include Senior Communications Advisor and Acting Director of Communications at the same organization, as well as Communications and Advocacy Advisor for the Tanzania Midwives Association. Early career highlights include editorial roles at Canadian Geographic, This Magazine, Nunatsiaq News, National Post, and Canadian Business, where Patricia honed skills in management, editing, and strategic messaging. Patricia holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Journalism from Ryerson University and additional education from the University of Ottawa.
