Anne Braakman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Currently, they work as an Inuka Coach at Inuka Coaching, where they help individuals prevent burnouts, stress, and dropouts while improving their overall well-being. Prior to this, they held the position of Business Community & Impact Manager at the same company.
Anne has also worked as a Poet at Poetry since 1988, using their skills to redefine our understanding of the world and create space for new perspectives. Anne briefly worked as an Independent Ger-builder at Nooit-Meer-Haast in 2020 and as a Participatory Action Researcher at Alim from 2015 to 2020.
Additionally, Anne has experience as a Junior-onderzoeker (etnografie spoken word) at Hanzehogeschool Groningen, an Artistic Action Researcher at the same institution, and a Vegan Sous-Chef at Oproer Brouwerij, Brewpub & Restaurant. Anne also worked as a Translator at Translations and as a Candidate Challenge Supervisor Participatory Action Researcher at 7Senses.
Anne's educational background includes being an MA student in Social Anthropology of Development at SOAS from 2014 to 2016, focusing on topics such as participation, policy, and climate change.
Anne Braakman (he/him) attended St. Bonifatius College from 2001 to 2007, where they obtained their VWO degree with a focus on Economy & Society, specifically in Management & Organization and Biology. Anne then enrolled at University College Utrecht from 2007 to 2012, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology, Psychology, and Philosophy. Following their undergraduate studies, Anne attended SOAS University of London from 2014 to 2015, where they completed a P.G. Diploma in Social Anthropology of Development. Later, from 2019 to 2021, Anne pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Cultural Anthropology: Sustainable Citizenship at Utrecht University.
