Monica Trauzzi

Monica Trauzzi is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in climate and sustainability advocacy. Currently serving as Senior Director of Climate and Sustainability at Invariant since July 2022, Monica previously held the role of Senior Director of External Communications and Climate Finance Strategy and Engagement at the Nuclear Energy Institute from September 2017 to July 2022. In this capacity, Monica successfully drove innovative communications strategies that garnered significant media attention and reshaped the industry's role in climate discussions. Prior to this, Monica was the Managing Editor and Host of E&E News, where over a decade, more than 2,000 on-camera interviews were conducted, positioning Monica as a pivotal figure in the national energy conversation. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish from Syracuse University.
