Mario Hoffmann

Mario Hoffmann has over 30 years of work experience in the aquaculture industry. Mario has held various roles at INVE Aquaculture, starting as a Sales Manager and Technical Support in Europe from 1999 to 2013. Mario then progressed to become the Area Manager for Far East Asia and Oceania from 2010 to 2015, and later the Regional Key Account Manager for Asia from 2013 to 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the International Sales Manager, leading an Asian sales team and developing the commercial strategy for the Asian Pacific region. Following this, they took on the role of the Marine Fish Asia Project Manager and International Sales Manager from 2019 to 2020. Most recently, they have become the Senior Key Account Manager and Regional Sales Director EMEA at INVE Aquaculture, starting in 2020. Prior to their time at INVE Aquaculture, Mario worked as the Managing Director and Shareholder at Watson Aquaculture from 1995 to 2013, where they were involved in trading, consultancy, and distribution of aquaculture products. Mario also had experience as the Managing Director, Technical Advisor, and Shareholder at Matrice Production Marine from 2001 to 2010, and as the Managing Director, Sales Director, and Shareholder at Empresas de Pesca Hoffmann from 1996 to 1999. Mario's early career included roles as a Sales Manager and Technical Support in Europe at INVE Aquaculture from 1992 to 1995, as a Project Manager at SIAM Aquaculture Engineering from 1991 to 1992, as a Hatchery Manager at Ithaka Fisheries from 1990 to 1991, and as an Assistant Production Manager at Ittica Ugento Spa from 1987 to 1990.

Mario Hoffmann attended Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Campinas from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a degree in Biology. Prior to this, they attended Colegio Estadual dos Andradas in Santos, Brazil, but no specific dates or degrees are provided for this education.
