Josh Collier

Josh Collier is the current Clients Relations Manager at Invedus Outsourcing. Prior to this, they were Sr. Oracle DBA and Sr. Manager - Systems Architect at Banfield Pet Hospital from February 2003 to May 2014. In this role, they were responsible for the 24/7 support of production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by Banfield's business systems. This included designing, developing and administering Oracle databases; performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of Oracle databases; management and maintenance of back-ups & recovery procedures; installation and maintenance of database server, replication and client environments; reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code; provision of support and assistance to development team in the design, development, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications; and provisioning of (database) development and testing environments. Prior to Banfield, Josh was a Database Developer at Nike from October 2002 to January 2003, a database developer at Concept Solutions, LLC from November 2001 to August 2002, and a Database Manager at Arthur D. Little from August 2001 to February 2002.

Josh Collier received a BA from the University of Oregon and a Graduate degree from George Mason University. Josh is certified from Oracle in 8i/9i/10g OCP.
