Alan Van Gerve

Alan Van Gerve has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Alan'smost recent position is as a Product Owner at Invenco, where they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Navico Group from 2013 to 2022, holding roles such as Senior Project Manager, System Engineering Lead, and Systems Engineer. In 2013, they also worked as a Consultant specializing in New Product Development at Independent Consultant. Alan was a Manager of Projects at Magna Business Consulting from 2009 to 2013. Before that, they held Project Manager positions at Brolaz South Africa and Sitwala Technologies in 2008. Alan'searlier experience includes being an Engineering Manager at Flextronics South Africa from 1998 to 2007 and a Design Engineer at Grinel/Grintek Comms from 1997 to 1998. Alan Van Gerve began their education at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electronic Engineering from 1993 to 1996. Alan continued their studies at the same university and received a B. Eng(HONS) degree in Computer Engineering from 1997 to 1998. Alan further pursued their education in Engineering Management and completed a Master of Engineering (M. Eng) degree from 2005 to 2006, also at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria.
