Carlos Pascual has a diverse work experience in software development and technical leadership roles. Carlos obtained a Master in Information Technology with a major in High Performance Display and Computation from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering at the same institution from 2001 to 2009. During their academic journey, Carlos also participated in two ATHENS Scholarship programs: one at the Technical University of Munich in 2006, where they focused on Parallel Numerical Simulation, and another at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers in 2005, where they examined Discovering Communication Networks for Information Society.

In terms of additional certifications, Carlos received the Chartered Professional Engineer in New Zealand designation from IPENZ in January 2017. Carlos also completed several certifications from Microsoft, including Programming in C# in April 2016, Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications in July 2014, and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals in January 2020. In addition, they obtained the ITIL® Foundation Certificate from Prometric in February 2012.
