Edward van der Vyver

Edward van der Vyver has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Edward started their career in 1997 as a Technician at National Service Scheme, MSI. Edward then worked as a Technician at National Cellular / DuO Solutions Provider from 1997 to 1999. Subsequently, Edward joined DuO Solutions Provider (PTY) Ltd in 1999 and held the positions of Senior Technician until 2004 and then IT & Facilities Administrator from 2004 to 2008. Edward then moved on to Util Labs (PTY) Ltd as a Test & Integration Engineer from 2008 to 2015. Edward joined Derivco in 2015 and worked as a Test Automation professional until 2018. At Derivco, they also held the roles of Senior Software Quality Engineer from 2018 to 2022 and Software Development Engineer In Test from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are working as an Automation Engineer at Invenco.

Edward van der Vyver completed their National Senior Certificate in Matric at Kempton Park Hoerskool from 1993 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained various certifications, including "Kubernetes: Package Management with Helm" from LinkedIn in August 2022, "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" from Microsoft in July 2022, and "Design Patterns: Creational" from LinkedIn in March 2022. Other certifications include "JavaScript: Test-Driven Development (ES6)" (March 2022), "Advanced Design Patterns: Design Principles" (January 2022), "Behavior-Driven Development" (January 2022), "Communicating with Empathy" (June 2021), "Delivering Bad News Effectively" (June 2021), and several others acquired between 2020 and 2021.
