Collin Budz

Collin Budz is a Principal Mechanical Engineer in Operations Engineering at Invenergy LLC, starting in April 2023. Previously, Collin held positions at GE Renewable Energy from July 2015 to April 2023, including Onshore Wind Senior Mechanical RCA Engineer and Fleet Engineer, where responsibilities included leading root cause analysis for various turbine components and supporting optimization decisions. Prior roles at GE Power & Water included participation in an Edison Engineer leadership development program, and an internship at GE Aviation. Collin gained foundational experience as a Demand Resource Qualification Intern at ISO New England. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2013-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2009-2013).
