Richard Biederman

Richard Biederman has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry. Richard began their career as an economic analyst for the Gas Technology Institute, where they developed financial evaluation programs for energy technology projects. Richard also successfully developed and commercialized several software applications for the energy industry. In 1994, they transitioned to business development and sales for Praxair, where they managed sales and business development activities for a $20 million/year segment of the national accounts group. In 2000, they joined BP as a program manager, and provided project management and business leadership for the development of a data warehouse and management reporting tool. Richard also developed key customer offers for a commercial business unit, and integrated supply chain activities for developing and implementing a B2B transactional web portal. In 2008, they joined Invenergy as VP of Finance & Capital Markets, where they lead the company's financial planning and analysis, capital markets, and treasury functions.

Richard Biederman completed their undergraduate degree at DePaul University in finance and then went on to earn their MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
