Silvia Baracaldo

Silvia Baracaldo is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in project finance and capital markets. Currently serving as Sr Manager Finance and Capital Markets at Invenergy since March 2024, Silvia has previously held significant roles including Project Finance Senior Associate at Astris Finance, LLC from 2017 to 2023, where advisory services were focused on Latin America. Prior experience includes internal financial advisement at Organizacion Luis Carlos Sarmiento Angulo Ltda. (OLCSAL) from 2013 to 2016, equity research at Deutsche Bank for Latam Metals and Mining from 2010 to 2012, and business development for renewable energy projects with ContourGlobal from 2008 to 2009. Silvia commenced her career in corporate finance and M&A advisory at Metrix Finanzas between 2004 and 2006. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes.
