Joe Yelochan has extensive experience in the field of user experience (UX) design and research. Joe currently works as the Director of Product UX at Inveniam, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Mile Two as a Senior UX Designer and Researcher from September 2019 to January 2021, where they focused on developing user-centric software solutions. At JPMorgan Chase & Co., Joe held multiple roles, including Senior UX Designer and Researcher, from July 2018 to September 2019. Joe played a key role in designing the workstations of the future and improving internal UX practices. Before that, Joe worked at Aver Inc. as a Product Design Lead and UX Designer, where they oversaw the user experience of a software product and collaborated with clients to identify needs and provide digital solutions. Joe also gained experience at Nationwide Insurance as a User Experience and Interaction Designer, creating web-based solutions for insurance purposes. Joe's career started as an Interaction Designer at Option Six, where they designed learning solutions for corporate clients. Joe began their professional journey as a UX Design Intern at Glerb, a digital learning start-up. Joe Yelochan obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human-Computer Interaction design (HCI/d) from Indiana University Bloomington from 2007 to 2010. During the same period, they also completed another Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Instructional Systems Technology (IST) from the same institution. Prior to this, they received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Writing and Film Theory from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 1998 to 2001.
