David Carlin

David Carlin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. David started their career at Capgemini as a Data Protection specialist from October 2012 to May 2016. In 2016, they joined Digital Federal Credit Union where they worked as an Information Center Specialist and later as an Electronic Services Representative until March 2020. At Digital Federal Credit Union, they handled support calls, processed online check deposits, ensured compliance with regulations, and handled fraudulent cases. In March 2020, David joined invenioLSI as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect. In this role, they have been responsible for developing and architecting enterprise-level multi-tier solutions on AWS, implementing cloud solutions using various AWS services, securing infrastructure on AWS, and performing application and data migrations to the cloud. David has also been involved in designing and deploying highly available and fault-tolerant systems on AWS and estimating AWS costs. Additionally, David has experience in installation, maintenance, and upgrades of Linux and Windows servers.

David Carlin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Worcester State University. David attended the university from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2020 and February 2020, respectively. David also holds certifications in Data Domain System Administration and Networker Installation, Configuration, and Administration from EMC, acquired in February 2015.
