John Richards, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the field of scientific research and development. John worked as a Principal Scientist at Invenra starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Scientist at Arch Oncology from 2019 to 2023. John also worked as a Research Scientist, Sr at Aurora HealthCare from 2009 to 2018, where they focused on the development of tumor infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) cultures and the evaluation of drug combinations on antibody therapeutics. John worked as a Scientist at Xencor, Inc. from 2006 to 2009, where they were involved in the development of XmAB technology. Additionally, they gained experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Ohio State University from 2003 to 2006, studying the effects of tumors on the immune system, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan from 2002 to 2003, evaluating the effects of viral infections on gene expression pathways.

John Richards, Ph.D. began their education journey in 1993, when they enrolled at Brigham Young University. John successfully completed their Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology in 1997. Following this, from 1997 to 2002, they pursued further studies at the University of Arizona, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Immunology and Tumor Biology.
