Tricia H. began their work experience in 2009 as a Certified Secondary Teacher in the Lewisville Independent School District, where they focused on teaching writing and research using technology. From 2009 to 2011, they also served as part of the IMLS Grant Teacher Panel at the Dallas Museum of Art. In 2010, Tricia interned with the Honorable Justice Michael J. O'Neill at the 5th District Court of Appeals and worked as a Student Attorney at the S.M.U. Civil Clinic: Consumer Advocacy Project. In 2011, they joined U.S. Trust, initially working as a Trust Administrative Officer II and later becoming a Business Support Manager. Tricia then worked at Edward Jones from 2014 to 2016 as a Financial Advisor, overseeing marketing, sales, client relationship management, and assisting with recruiting. Tricia briefly worked as a Private Client Banker at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2016 before joining Invent.us in 2018 as the Chief Administrative Officer, J.D. in the Cloud Platform Product team. In this role, they support global teams in wealth management software development, utilizing traditional and agile methodologies, and holding various certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster, CAPM, and Series 7 and 66.

Tricia H. has an extensive education history spanning multiple fields. Tricia attended the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Juris Doctor degree. During their time at Southern Methodist University, they also participated in a summer study abroad program at the University of Oxford in 2008, focusing on law, transnational commerce, and U.K. property law.

Before attending law school, Tricia earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in instructional design/educational technology from the University of Maryland College Park in 2006. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in humanities from the same university in 2000. Additionally, Tricia obtained a Graduate Teaching Certificate in education from the University of North Texas in 2000.

Tricia's education journey began at Frederick Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in fine art. The exact dates of their enrollment at this institution are not provided.
