Anirudha Barve

Anirudha Barve has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry spanning over 25 years. Anirudha started their career at Cipla Pharmaceutical as a Chemist, where they focused on formulation development and analytical method validation. Anirudha then joined Novartis (formerly Ciba) as an Analytical Expert, where they worked on various analytical projects. At Patheon, they worked as a Chemist III, gaining experience in pharmaceutical production.

Barve's career progressed as they joined Ciba Vision Sterile Manufacturing as a Manager QC/R&D, overseeing quality control and research and development activities. Later, they joined Pfizer Limited as the Head of Quality Operations, where they were responsible for implementing QA systems and managing FDA audits across multiple manufacturing sites. At Watson Pharmaceuticals, Barve served as the Deputy General Manager, CQA and was later promoted to the role of GM Operations. In these positions, they successfully built a quality culture, increased productivity, and achieved regulatory clearances from USFDA and EDQM.

Barve continued their career at Apotex Pharmachem Inc in Canada as the Leader, Vendor Audit, before joining Inventia Healthcare Pvt Ltd. as the Vice President Quality. Anirudha eventually became the Sr VP of Operations at Inventia Healthcare Pvt Ltd.

Throughout their career, Barve has demonstrated their expertise in quality management, process validation, technology transfer, and regulatory compliance. Anirudha has also sponsored and contributed to various continuous improvement projects.

Anirudha Barve has a strong educational background in the fields of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Materials Science. In 1991, they attended the University of Mumbai, where they earned their Ph.D in Chemistry in 1995. Following this, they pursued further academic opportunities at the University of California, Davis from 2000 to 2001, where they completed a Post Doctorate in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science.
