Mayurbhai Sankalia has a comprehensive work experience spanning across multiple companies and roles. Mayurbhai started their career as a Trainee & Assistant to Production Manager at Astral Pharmaceutical Industries in 2000. Mayurbhai then worked as a Trainee Consultant at Pharma Consultants, where they provided guidance on establishing and implementing ISO-9001:2000 systems.

Mayurbhai went on to work as a Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, where they conducted research, delivered lectures, supervised students, and set up laboratories. Mayurbhai also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Queen's University Belfast, School of Pharmacy, where they developed hydrogel formulations.

At Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd., Mayurbhai worked as an Executive Formulation Scientist, focusing on Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS) formulation development. Mayurbhai conducted experiments, prepared technical documentation, and supported development work and manufacturing.

Subsequently, Mayurbhai joined Norbrook Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Formulation Scientist, responsible for developing pharmaceutical dosage forms and performing analysis to support product development. Mayurbhai then worked at Mylan Pharmaceuticals as an Assistant General Manager, leading a group of research scientists and liaising with various support departments.

Mayurbhai's next role was as an Associate Director at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where they managed projects and led a team of scientists working on various formulations. Mayurbhai then joined Celon Laboratories Limited as the R&D Head, overseeing a team of formulation, analytical, and regulatory scientists. Mayurbhai also interacted with investors, venture capitalists, and customers to understand product needs.

Currently, Mayurbhai serves as the Vice President at Inventia Healthcare Limited, where they established the injectable vertical and is responsible for formulation and analytical activities. Mayurbhai also designed the R&D lab, monitored development progress, and visited CDOs for personal monitoring.

Mayurbhai Sankalia's education history includes a diverse range of academic achievements. In 1996, they completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at Sardar Patel University. Mayurbhai then pursued a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Sciences at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda from 2000 to 2002. Following this, they obtained a PhD in Pharmacy from the same university, specializing in Pharmaceutical Sciences, which they completed between 2002 and 2005. In 2009, Mayurbhai undertook a General Course on Intellectual Property at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Simultaneously, they also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Pharmaceutical Formulation Development at Queen's University Belfast, a position they held for one year from 2009 to 2010. Throughout their academic journey, Mayurbhai has focused on the fields of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Formulation Development, and Intellectual Property Rights.
