Shekhar Baxi

Shekhar Baxi has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Shekhar started their career as a Medical Representative at Pharmed Limited in 1987 and worked there until 1990. Shekhar then joined Alidac Genetics & Pharmaceuticals (Division of Zydus Cadila) as an SFO & Product Specialist from 1991 to 1995. Shekhar also owned a pharma retail business called Anuj Medical & General Stores from 1995 to 2002.

In 2002, Shekhar joined Ceramco Dental Clinic as a Manager, where they were responsible for marketing dental treatments and hygiene. Shekhar also organized dental check-up camps and coordinated with medical associations for CMEs on dentistry. Shekhar worked at Ceramco Dental Clinic until 2004.

From 2004 to 2012, Shekhar worked at Inventia Healthcare Private Limited (Formerly Themis Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.) in various roles. Shekhar started as a Manager - Marketing Services and gradually progressed to become a Senior Manager - Marketing & Business Development. From 2017 to 2018, Shekhar served as Deputy General Manager - Business Development (India & LATAM), where they continued their business development and marketing responsibilities in India and the South America region. Shekhar was then promoted to Head - Business Development (India & LATAM) from 2018 to 2020, where they took charge of business development and marketing for India and the entire South America region.

Currently, Shekhar Baxi holds the position of Regional Head - Business Development (India, South Asia, Middle East, Africa & Latin America) at Inventia Healthcare Limited, starting from 2020. Here, they are responsible for business development in India, South Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, including the entire South America region.

Shekhar Baxi pursued an MBA in Marketing from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology - SMU, from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc in Chemistry with a focus on Drugs & Dyes from I.Y.COLLEGE, Mumbai, spanning from 1982 to 1987. Shekhar's earliest known education experience was at IES-NEW ENGLISH SCHOOL, BANDRA EAST, from 1972 to 1982, although specific degree and field of study information is not provided for this period.
