Mike Phillips

Mike Phillips has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Mike currently holds the position of Executive Vice President - Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer at InvenTrust Properties Corp. (IVT), a role they have been in since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as Senior Vice President - Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at the same company from April 2020 to August 2021. Mike also held the positions of Vice President - Controller from March 2017 to April 2020 and Vice President - Controller Property Accounting from January 2016 to March 2017.

Before joining InvenTrust Properties Corp., Mike worked at InvenTrust Properties Corp. (formerly Inland American Real Estate), starting in 2009. During their time there, they held various roles including Senior Manager Financial Reporting from January 2014 to July 2014, Accounting Manager from January 2012 to December 2013, and Senior Accountant from July 2009 to December 2011.

Prior to their tenure at InvenTrust Properties Corp., Mike worked at Pasquinelli Homebuilding from 2004 to 2008. Their roles at Pasquinelli included Manager of Finance from July 2008 to July 2009, Accounting Manager from May 2007 to July 2008, and Senior Accountant from May 2004 to April 2007.

Mike Phillips attended The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 2000 to 2004, where they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Finance and a minor in Spanish. Later, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) degree at Roosevelt University's Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate.
