Bob Wise

Bob Wise is a distinguished academic in the field of botany, with extensive experience at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where contributions included serving as the Distinguished Professor of Botany from 1993 to 2013 and as Emeritus Professor since 2018. Key responsibilities encompassed teaching, research, and leadership roles such as Interim Director of the Office of Grants and Faculty Development and Chair of the Faculty Development Board. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a role as WiSys Regional Associate. Bob Wise holds a PhD and an M.S. in Plant Physiology and Botany from Duke University, as well as a B.S. in Botany/Plant Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
