Michael Bray

Michael’s primary focus is investment strategies for the institutional and private clients’ fixed income investments. Prior to joining Inverness in 2018, he managed investment portfolios for GWD LLC and for Mountain States Analytics LLC. For the previous 30+ years Michael worked as part of teams at RW Baird, Guggenheim and First Albany, where he researched and transacted across the full-range of fixed income securities. Michael’s body of work includes constructing total return portfolios, and improving fixed income portfolio performance by focusing on sector and security positioning. Michael earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from University of Virginia in 1981 and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia in 1985.
