Ara Aslanian has a long and varied work experience. In 1998, they co-founded and served as CEO of Inverselogic, Inc., a company providing corporate computing, networking, data communications, system security, and application development products and services. In 2016, they co-founded and served as CEO of reevert, a company designed to safeguard data against ransomware type attacks. That same year, they also became Chairman of the Board for the Verdugo Workforce Development Board, a non-profit providing employment and training services. From 2009 to 2012, they served as a Board Member and former Board Chair for the Community Center of La Canada Flintridge. In 2018, they joined the Advisory Board for the LA Cyber Lab, a public-private-partnership dedicated to protecting personal and protected information from malicious cyber threats. In 2019, they became an Angel Investor for the Angel Investor Club of Armenia (AICA). Finally, from 2005 to 2012, they served as a Board Member for Mobile BIS, Inc.
Ara Aslanian attended California State University, Northridge from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2017, they attended Harvard Kennedy School for Cybersecurity Risk Management and obtained a certification in Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age from Harvard's Office of the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning, in association with HarvardX in November 2017.
