Inversiones Aguas Metropolitanas SA
Rodrigo Azócar Hidalgo is an industrial civil engineer from the University of Chile, a Chilean academic and consultant. Between 2014 and 2018 he served as Chairman of the state-owned passenger transportation company - Metro de Chile.
Since 1981 he worked at Banco de Chile, and served as General Manager of Credits at Banco del Estado.
In the early 1990s he was consultant to the Ministry of Economy, Development and Reconstruction and was in charge of the SME Financing Program. In 1994 he was a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), a position in which he was responsible for designing the second-floor banking of the National Financial Corporation of Ecuador.

Inversiones Aguas Metropolitanas S.A. holds interests in Aguas Andinas S.A., a sanitation company in Latin America. The Company, through its regulated subsidiaries, offers the services of raw water catchment; production, transport and distribution of potable water, and collection, treatment and disposal of wastewater to approximately eight million people in the Metropolitan, Los Lagos and Los Rios Regions. The Company's segments include Water and Non-Water. The Water segment consists only of sanitation services that permit the provision of products and production services, water distribution, and sewage collection and treatment. The Non-Water segment consists of services related to environmental analysis, liquid waste treatment and engineering services, as well as the sale of products related to the sanitation services and energy projects. The Company's concession areas cover an area of approximately 70, 000 hectares in the basin of Santiago, in the middle depression of central Chile.
