Miguel Garcia Cordo has a diverse work experience in risk management, compliance, and middle office roles. Miguel is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Inversis since January 2023. Before that, they were a member at IDIASEF since September 2022. Miguel previously worked at March Asset Management from January 2012 to March 2023, where they held the positions of Head of Compliance, Risk Management, and Middle Office, as well as Senior Risk Management Analyst. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Risk Management at Nordkapp SA, SGIIC from October 2010 to January 2012. Miguel also worked as a Middle Office Analyst at Nordkapp SA, SV from March 2008 to October 2010. Miguel started their career at Banesto in October 2006 as Back Office and later joined Bankinter as Back Office from January 2005 to October 2006.

Miguel Garcia Cordo, MIAX has a Licentiate degree in Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, obtained from 1999 to 2005. Miguel also has a Licentiate degree in Mathematics from the same university, completed from 1996 to 1999.

Currently, Miguel is pursuing a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Instituto de Inteligencia Artificial, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence Applied to Finance (miA-X) from Instituto BME, spanning from 2021 to 2022.

Miguel's education history also includes various specialized programs and courses. Miguel completed a Program for Management Development in Sustainable Finance from Afi Escuela in 2020, and a Data Analysis course titled "Machine learning: Data Science with Rstudio" from Udemy Alumni in the same year.

In the field of finances, Miguel has also undertaken the Advanced Derivatives Program from Afi Escuela in 2013 and the Advance Fixed Income Program from IEB in 2012-2013. Miguel has completed programs in Financial Risk Management, Counterparty and Credit Risk, and Compliance from IEB and Afi Escuela between 2011 and 2013. Additionally, they have received training in Matlab in Finances: Valuation and Risk from Afi Escuela in 2011.

For technology-related skills, Miguel has obtained an Advanced IOS Development degree from KeepCoding in 2014. Miguel has also completed courses in Sprite Kit with IOS7 and Xcode from Udemy in the same year, and VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, and PHP from Aula de Formadores in 2012-2013.

Moreover, Miguel has been licensed as an Operador SIBE by the Instituto BME in 2009.
