Nieves Guzmán Gálvez has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Nieves started their career in 2002 as an Analyst at Intereconomia.com, where they conducted technical analysis of stock values and wrote reports for publication. From 2005 to 2006, they worked at Lloyds TSB as a Portfolio Manager. Nieves then joined Barclays Bank, where they worked as a Commercial in a branch, providing advisory services for mortgage loans, consumer credits, and new client acquisition. In 2007, they moved to RBC Investor & Treasury Services as the Head of FX Client Desk Spain, responsible for proactive foreign exchange business with clients. Finally, in 2016, they joined Banco Inversis as the Head of FX Clientes Desk Spain/Fixed Income Sales, where they executed forex trades and quoted spot, forward, and FX swap transactions.
Nieves Guzmán Gálvez completed a Special Course in Fixed Income at IEB in 2010. In 2009, they also completed a Risk Management Course for Foreign Exchange at AFI. In the academic years 2005 to 2006, they pursued a Master's degree in Stock and Financial Markets, specializing in Economics, at IEB. Prior to this, from 1996 to 2002, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Nieves Guzmán Gálvez also holds additional certifications including a License from BME for the SIBE market and an Operator License for MEFF in levels I, II, and III, obtained in 2012 and 2008 respectively.
