Bruce Roberts

Bruce Roberts is a seasoned software engineer and technology leader with extensive experience in various roles throughout the tech industry. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Invert since February 2024, Bruce focuses on enhancing data management and analytics in bioprocessing. Prior to this, Bruce was a Partner at Social Venture Partners Seattle, where contributions included developing a Technology Community of Practice to empower investees in using technology effectively. As Platform Architect at Zeitworks, Bruce played a key role in developing a secure SaaS platform, and as co-founder and CTO of Simplata Technologies, Bruce focused on protecting sensitive data through robust SaaS solutions. Bruce's career also includes significant leadership positions such as CTO at DomainTools and Rouxbe Online Cooking School. Educational qualifications include a BS from Caltech and a PhD from Cornell University, underscoring a strong foundation in applied physics.
