Sudipto De, PhD, CFA, serves as the Global Head of Equity Risk at Invesco Ltd. since September 2025. Previously, Sudipto was the Head of Investment Risk at Principal Asset Management from April 2022 to September 2025, overseeing the global investment risk management team. Prior roles include Deputy Head of Investment Risk at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC (May 2016 - April 2022), where leadership was provided to a team focused on various investment risks, and Vice President/Executive Director at Goldman Sachs (November 2009 - May 2016), specializing in quantitative research and risk analysis in fixed income. Earlier experience includes a position as a Member of Consulting Staff at Cadence Design Systems, conducting research on numerical methods for circuit simulation, and a summer internship at Ansoft Corporation. Sudipto holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Computational Science and Mechanical Engineering, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
