Rick Christiaanse

Rick Christiaanse, C.Dir, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Invest Alberta since October 2021, where leadership focuses on attracting over $20 billion in investment and creating more than 30,000 jobs across diverse sectors. As a Member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, Rick contributes to enhancing governance standards. Prior roles include Global Chief Operating Officer at Skidmore Group, General Manager at GLENTEL Inc., and Chair of the Governance Committee at TransLink, among others. Educationally, Rick holds a Bachelor of Commerce in International Marketing from The University of British Columbia. Key achievements include significant organizational restructuring and expansion efforts throughout diverse industries and regions.
