Matt Fogt

Matt Fogt is the current VP of Marketing and Communications at Invest Atlanta. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Communications at Applied Systems from December 2012 to April 2016. In this role, they were responsible for leading communications globally and driving brand engagement among a multitude of stakeholders. Before Applied Systems, they worked as the Senior Account Supervisor for Crisis, Issues Management and Public Affairs at Edelman from March 2010 to November 2012. At Edelman, they were a member of both a regional and global practice and helped companies with crisis preparation, incident response, and ongoing issues and reputation management programs.

Matt Fogt attended the University of Vermont, where they majored in economics and political science. Matt then attended Dickinson College for one year of study in economics. Matt's final educational institution was Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.
