Jennifer Hayes is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Operations & Policy at Invest Detroit since January 2018. Prior to this role, Jennifer held the position of Director of Administration & Outreach at Business Leaders for Michigan from January 2008 to September 2017. She also has experience as a Senior Legislative Analyst in Government Affairs at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan from 2007 to 2008. Jennifer's career in policy and government began at the Michigan Legislature - House & Senate, where she held various roles including Policy Advisor, Deputy Chief of Staff / Legislative Director, and Legislative Assistant from 1999 to 2007. She completed her education at Michigan State University from 1997 to 2001.
