Gaurav Sishodia began their work experience in 2011 as a Trainee at Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd. Gaurav then worked as a Strategic Analyst at Asia Consulting Group (P) Ltd. from June 2012 to July 2013. Gaurav joined Doosan in August 2013, where they held a role in Strategy & Planning within the CEO's office until May 2016. Gaurav then joined Invest India in June 2016 as a Manager for Korea Plus, managing projects related to Automobile, Electric Mobility, Infrastructure, and Energy until December 2018. From January 2019 to March 2020, they took on the role of Lead for the Investment Facilitation Cell at Invest India for the Ministry of Food Processing Industries. Currently, Gaurav holds the position of Senior AVP as the Head of Agri-Food & Sustainability, and will soon transition to the role of Vice President in the Electronics, Technology, and Sustainability sector at Invest India starting in April 2023.

Gaurav Sishodia has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Power Management from the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in PCM from DAV PG College, Dehradun from 2007 to 2010. Gaurav completed their intermediate education at Touch Wood School, Dehradun from 1995 to 2006.
