Nanda Aung

Nanda Aung currently serves as an ESG Officer at Invest International, focusing on environmental and social issues within public sector development deal teams since February 2023. Previously, Nanda was a Corporate Water Stewardship Associate at the World Resources Institute from April 2021 to February 2023, where responsibilities included assisting multinational businesses with water stewardship strategies and managing the Aqueduct Alliance. Prior experience includes roles as a Sustainable Agriculture Manager and Sustainable Business Officer at WWF Myanmar, and as a Water Stewardship Researcher at The HEINEKEN Company, where Nanda contributed to water risk assessments and developed methodologies for sustainable practices. Nanda also worked as a Safeguards Consultant for The World Bank and performed environmental and social consultancy work through independent assignments. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Urban Environmental Management from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Stetson University.
