Elwin van Rooijen

Elwin van Rooijen is a Senior Investment Manager at Invest-NL, focusing on a €3.0bn Impact Fund that invests in start-ups and scale-ups driving innovation and climate transition since November 2020. Previously, Elwin served as an Investment Associate at Surmount Ventures, specializing in impact venture capital and private equity. Elwin's background includes extensive experience as a Senior Associate in Deals Strategy at PwC, engaging in commercial due diligence and M&A strategy, as well as roles in market research and editing at DutchInvestor and various other organizations. Elwin holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Erasmus School of Economics (Cum Laude) and a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Business from the University of Amsterdam. Additionally, Elwin has pursued further studies in Chinese Economy at Fudan University and has a foundational background in Political Science.
