Kyle Schmeisser has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Kyle began their career at RBC Royal Bank as a Senior Account Manager in 2006 and later transitioned into the role of Financial Planner. In this role, they focused on generating business opportunities and providing investment and retirement planning solutions to clients.
After their time at RBC Royal Bank, Kyle joined Invest Nova Scotia in 2009. Kyle started as a Business Development Strategist, where they developed and executed strategies to increase container traffic through Atlantic Canada's container ports. Kyle also organized trade missions, maintained stakeholder relations, and conducted market research.
Kyle then took on the role of Sector Strategist in Corporate Strategy and Intelligence at Invest Nova Scotia. In this position, they led the development and execution of a provincial sector strategy for the financial services industry. Kyle coordinated strategic planning efforts across business units, specifically in relation to financial services and the Atlantic Gateway.
Kyle later became the Director of Account Management at Invest Nova Scotia, where they oversaw account management activities throughout the organization. Kyle fostered relationships with strategic clients and developed plans to support their growth in Nova Scotia.
In 2011, Kyle joined NS Gateway Secretariat as the Director of International Business Development.
Most recently, Kyle held the position of Director of People, Culture & Admin at Invest Nova Scotia, where they provided leadership in these areas.

Kyle Schmeisser obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science from Saint Mary's University between 1995 and 1999. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics at Dalhousie University from 1999 to 2001.
